Microblading session

Microblading is an ideal solution for clients who have patchy, thin, or uneven eyebrows and are looking for the most natural looking results. However, not everyone is a candidate for microblading and there are different elements to consider such as skin condition and health. Microblading is most suitable for clients with normal skin and small pores. Oil in the skin can cause the Microblading hair-stroke to expand and blur so the less oily the client skin is, the better the result would be. At Modern Beauty Aca, we have very strict guidelines that we follow to decide who is a good candidate for microblading and who should avoid microblading!

The Healing Process

The healing process of microblading plays a crucial role in achieving excellent results. Understanding and following the proper aftercare instructions is essential for a successful healing journey and long-lasting effects.

Microshading After Care

For the SUCCESS of this procedure it is essential to follow the subsequent care instructions:

30 Minutes: After treatment, wash brows with lukewarm water, pat dry, and apply skin candy (just dab) Repeat the same procedure (washing the eyebrows) every 2 hours during the first two days. If your treatment was done in the afternoon, you should sleep with adhesive plastic in the area of the eyebrows, to prevent the for-mation of scabs, and when you get up do the required cleaning.
Days 1-3
Brows will start developing a thin layer of scab, continue keeping your brows dry and clean.
Days 3-7
It is necessary that you maintain adequate hygiene by washing your eyebrows 2 times a day and apply the cream that was given to you.
WHAT NOT TO USE DURING THE FIRST 10 DAYS:
1. DO NOT use creams or facial products
2. DO NOT expose to the sun
3. DO NOT use make-up
4. No Pools, beach, sauna and steam rooms
5. DO NOT expose them to water directly in the shower
6. DO NOT Exercise (avoid sweating)
7. Don’t scratch your brows
8. Sleep on your back
Days 8-28
The final color and shape of your eyebrows will gradually emerge. It is important to remain patient and avoid any activities that could compromise the healing process, such as swimming or using saunas. Protecting your eyebrows from UV rays by wearing sunscreen or a hat is highly re-commended.
Days 28+
You will have a touch-up appointment. This allows the microblading artist to assess the healed results and make any necessary adjustments to ensure optimal longevity. Remember to communicate any concerns or questions you may have during this follow-up visit.

Microshading After Care

*It is normal that during the first week you will notice that your eyebrows are thick and dark, This will eventually decrease in thickness and color due to oxidation. It is normal that during the second week, you will notice the color is quite faint or "patchy". The final color will be seen in approximately 4 weeks after the procedure and during the 6th week you will return for your touch-up appointment. Remember that if you miss your touch-up appointment, the replacement appointment will incur an additional cost.
