Maintaining Your Brows

A new set of Microbladed eyebrows takes two appointments to complete and for that reason the 6-8 weeks touch-up appointment is required. After this appointment we recommend a yearly touch-up to maintain the crispness and freshness of your brows. Depending on your fading we do offer different touch-up schedules as the fading process differs from person to person. You may need to get a touch-up sooner than one year.

Frequent questions

What is microblading & microshading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow enhancement technique. It involves using a manual tool and a series of micro-needles to create small strokes that resemble natural eyebrow hairs. This procedure is done in layers, resulting in a realistic and full look for the eyebrows.
Microshading also known as "eyebrow shading," is another semi-permanent technique used to enhance the shape and thickness of eyebrows. Unlike microblading, which uses hair-like strokes, microshading employs a shading technique to fill in and define the eyebrows.
How long does microshading last?
Microshading, being a semi-permanent technique, typically lasts for an average of one to three years. However, the longevity of microshading can vary depending on several factors, including individual skin type, lifestyle, and proper aftercare.
Does microshading hurt?
During a microshading procedure, some level of discomfort or sensation may be experienced, but the level of pain varies from person to person. The pain tolerance of individuals differs, and factors such as individual sensitivity, anxiety, and the specific technique used by the technician can influence the level of discomfort.
Is microshading permanent?
Microshading is not considered a permanent procedure. It is a semi-permanent technique that provides longer-lasting results compared to traditional eyebrow makeup, but it will eventually fade over time.
The pigments used in microshading are deposited into the superficial layers of the skin, specifically the upper dermis. Unlike permanent tattoos that penetrate deeper into the skin, microshading pigments are designed to gradually fade as the skin naturally exfoliates.
On average, microshading can last anywhere from one to three years, depending on various factors such as individual skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Factors like sun exposure, skincare routine, and the use of exfoliating products can accelerate the fading process.
What is the difference between microblading and microshading?
Microblading and microshading are two different techniques used in eyebrow enhancement. Microblading involves creating fine hair-like strokes using a handheld tool, while microshading uses a stippling method to achieve a soft powdered effect.
