Book NowThe Healing Process
After getting Powder Brows, it's essential to understand the healing process to ensure optimal results. Powder Brows, a popular semi-permanent eyebrow technique, involves depositing tiny dots of pigment into the skin to achieve a soft, powdered efect. In this guide, we'll walk you through the healing process of Powder Brows and provide helpful tips to care for your brows during this crucial period.
Powder brows After Care
For the SUCCESS of this procedure it is essential to follow the subsequent care instructions:
30 Minutes: After treatment, wash brows with lukewarm water, pat dry, and apply skin candy (just dab)
Repeat the same procedure (washing the eyebrows) every 2 hours during the first two days. If your treatment was done in the afternoon, you should sleep with adhesive plastic in the area of the eyebrows, to prevent the formation of scabs, and when you get up do the required cleaning.
Days 1-3
Brows will start developing a thin layer of scab, continue keeping your brows dry and clean.
Days 3-7
It is necessary that you maintain adequate hygiene by washing your eyebrows 2 times a day and apply the cream that was given to you.
WHAT NOT TO USE DURING THE FIRST 10 DAYS:
1. DO NOT use creams or facial products
2. DO NOT expose to the sun
3. DO NOT use make-up
4. No Pools, beach, sauna and steam rooms
5. DO NOT expose them to water directly in the shower
6. DO NOT Exercise (avoid sweating)
7. Don’t scratch your brows
8. Sleep on your back
Settling of Color (Weeks 3-4):
The color of your Powder Brows will start to settle into its final shade. You will notice a more natural appearance as the pigment integrates with the skin. Keep in mind that individual healing times can vary, so be patient as your brows continue to evolve.
*It is normal that during the first week you will notice that your eyebrows are thick and dark, This will eventually decrease in thickness and color due to oxidation. It is normal that during the second week, you will notice the color is quite faint or "patchy". The final color will be seen in approximately 4 weeks after the procedure and during the 6th week you will return for your touch-up appointment. Remember that if you miss your touch-up appointment, the replacement appointment will incur an additional cost.

Powder Brows Touch Up
For most people, Powder Brows should be retouched after a year. Some clients will notice their microblading started fading sooner - even after 9 months they may start filling their brows with a pencil because pigmentation is diminished. On the contrary, some clients may not need a Powder Brows touch up after a year – their Powder Brows will still look pretty fresh and there will be very little fading. This usually happens with people who have normal to dry skin, as well as those whose daily routine doesn’t include the above-mentioned factors that speed up the fading process.
When Is the Right Time for the Powder Brows Touch Up?
Since it varies from person to person, your artist may be able to predict when you will need a touch up. This is based on your skin type and lifestyle. When you notice you can’t leave the house without filling in your eyebrows, that means that your brows are faded enough for a touch up.
If you do not like the shape of your brows anymore and need a change, this too is the right time for a Color Boost appointment.
Do your brows still look good? But your artist told you to come in for yearly touch up, then book a consultation instead. It’s a good idea to take a few pictures of your brows and send them to your artist , the artist will determine if you need the touch up.
